Thanks to an incredible backer who pledged to the Custom Pin Design tier, I'm happy to announce that we have a brand new BONUS Shroomie pin that I just finished and is now available to everyone! It was an absolute blast working with backer DB Irwin, and bringing his vision for a custom-designed Shroomie to life :) After sketching out several of his initial ideas, I'm thrilled to introduce you to the finished Shroomie that we settled on and finalized together.

Gosh, this was an insanely fun pin to make. I'm really thrilled that it won the vote ultimately, because there really is something adorable and special about having a linked train of little Shroomie friends, representing all of you guys who made this campaign, and the epic backer train possible. I designed it specifically with the backer train in mind, making all of the mushroom colors match BackerKit's colorful overtime mode box! 🤩

All of the individual holographic stickers are here!! You know ya girl LOVES shiny things, and I'm super pleased with the quality and shiny-ness of them. I tweaked the art a little bit (on the Mama Shroom and Baby Shroomie Trail stickers) from the initial digital previews that were shown during the live campaign, in order to make these stickers as legible and visually appealing as possible. Basically, instead of all the lines being holographic on these two designs, I opted to keep the colorful line art around the mushrooms, and just have the detailing be holographic, as well as the outer borders. I'm really glad I took the time to make these adjustments, since I feel now that there's a good balance of line art and holographic shiny-ness. Check them out!

Finally, I just want to say how much I thoroughly enjoyed seeing all your votes and write-in suggestions (in the survey) for my next project :) It was literally an even, neck-in-neck race between "more shroomie pins" and "tiny bottle scenery" pins until just recently when the scales finally tipped! Plushies have stayed very close behind throughout this poll as well, and most of the write-in suggestions were basically "all of the above" or "both shroomies and bottles". 😂👍



I'm honestly just super thrilled and touched that you incredibly wonderful group of people are down to see more from me in the future. I can tell you now, that I currently plan on indulging both of the top picks, and have some fun ideas to incorporate a mix of tiny bottle scenery pins and more Shroomie designs together for my next campaign! Depending on logistics, I may even be able to sneak a first plushie in there too 👀

For now though, things are still pretty open-ended, so feel free to throw your ideas at me in the comments below, especially if there are any new Shroomie concepts you'd like to see, or specific types of scenery for little bottle pins! I really love these kinds of group collaborative efforts and designing things from the mind and heart of this amazing community 🤩💖

Oh my goodness, I'm so excited to share these previews of our brand new Shroomie ✨STICKER BOOKS!✨ This is the first sticker book I've made thus far, and I can confidently say that I'm super pleased with the quality and final outcome.



If you're not familiar with sticker books, they're basically ingenious ways of storing, organizing and displaying your sticker collection! All of the pages are made of a special material (like the glossy back of a sticker that you peel it from), which allows each sticker to be entirely reusable—over and over again. Check it out:

If you're like me, I love collecting stickers, but can never decide where to put them or how to use them. I admittedly have a big pile stashed away in box from all I've collected and made over the years... 😅 But now, I can finally dust off that box and give all my stickers the proper display and organization they deserve!

 
These are great for sticker-commitment-anxiety too, since you don't have to perfectly align the sticker placement on the first try. If you peel and place your sticker at an odd angle, it easily peels right back off and re-sticks as many times as needed (without losing ANY adhesive)! Or if I decide I want to rearrange the stickers in a different order, swap other stickers in and out, or even give people my stickers right out of the book, it's all possible with these brilliant glossy pages :)



I'm so excited for those of you who have ordered a sticker book to see these gorgeous albums in person! 🤩 And it's not too late to grab one if you haven't yet. If you're a current backer, you can edit your survey pledge and use the Add-Ons to group this with your current order. Hello again, shroomie gang! 😎 Thanks for your patience since the last update; I was travelling out of state last week, but I'm thrilled to see that during this time, we now have 92% completion on all reward surveys! With the majority of the final pin counts in now though, pin production will officially begin this week :) Woohoo!! Stickers have been ordered as well, and most of those will probably be in by the end of this month. I'm still finalizing the art files on the Freebie Backer Train pin, as well as the new design from a custom pledge tier backer (to be shown and released soon). 👀 And speaking of, we have a final winner from the polls for our freebie pin! Finally, I'm honored to make a special announcement of yet ANOTHER new pin that's been an incredibly fun super-secret project up until now 👀 Right after Pintopia ended, the amazing team behind BackerKit commissioned me to design an exclusive pin that also commemorates their backer train feature! But get this: my pin is going to be the first of MANY collectible train pins to come! Over time, you'll be able to collect more attachable train car pins from BackerKit, and link them all up to make your own endless train pin!! 🤩 How brilliantly awesome is that?!



BackerKit is going to be handling the production and distribution of this pin, so at the moment, I can't say for sure how / when you'll be able to obtain it. But keep an eye out for this commemorative new design, exclusively from BackerKit! I personally can't wait to see all of the other train car pins that they'll produce over time; this is going to be such a fun and unique collectible :D

Soooo, I understand that picking a design for the free backer-train pin has been one of the toughest choices yet! I just want to say again how much I've enjoyed sketching out all of your guys' ideas, and I've been really torn myself on which pin concept to move forward with. 😅 You all have some of the BEST ideas, and I eventually want to just make all of them haha. For now though, we've gotta narrow it down to one. As per some requests, I'm opening a Second Round Poll of the top choices from the last post!

Speaking of polls, thanks to everyone who voted on the Wizard Shroomie sticker poll, our sticker sheet is now updated to feature the BLUE Wizard Shroomie! I hope this is a fun treat for everyone who wanted to see this colorway come to life. Think of it like this little fungi used its mushie magic to shift colors between pin and sticker form! 😆

I've got all the 26+ Shroomie pin files prepped for manufacturing, and my factory partner is ready to go! The only pins that are left to finalize are the freebie backer pin and the custom pledge tier pin that an awesome backer ordered. Once more of the surveys are complete and I can get a more final count of how many of each design I need to order, the pin manufacturing will begin :) So excited to start bringing our new fungi friends to life!

I wanted to give everyone's email inboxes a little bit of a breather before I updated again, since I know most of our inboxes have been filling up with all kinds of Backerkit emails since Pintopia ended. I'll still keep the necessary info nice and brief though. But FIRST, and as promised, here are the designs options for our free commemorative backer train Shroomie pin!



That was such a ridiculously fun train ride together on Thursday, and what an incredible way to finish Pintopia! Just under 3 hours of overtime mode with a 30-person backer train?! I knew I had to do something fun to commemorate the event. Which is why I wanted to put together a silly new "backer train" Shroomie pin—and your guys' ideas have been SO FUN to sketch out! I've already been having an absolute blast throughout this entire project, and to have ended it on such a high note with so many of you was a tremendous honor I'll never forget :') Thank you again!!

I will say, a similar Shroomie train pin design is also in the works for a super-secret project 👀 So as much as I love the thematics of having a train pin to commemorate our backer train, I'd be just as happy to go with any of these other designs for our freebie pin! Hopefully I can share more about the secret project soon.

Thanks to your feedback and vote, we now have a finalized and updated color scheme for the "Yer A Wizard Shroomie" pin! Thank you so much for your help with this, and I'm thrilled that more people can enjoy this design now with the new, more magical color palette :)



This begs the question though, since the blue/purple color scheme was such a close second ... Should I put the blue Wizard Shroomie on the sticker sheet? Or would you prefer the enamel pin and sticker to match? Let me know your vote here!
